On Sunday I mentioned to the group that you may be thinking as you read, "I wish I had time to read the footnotes" or "I would like to read this in chronological order" or "I would like to read this in another translation." My solution to these thoughts is the phrase "Next time." If it takes you an hour to do your readings now, you could easily read the Bible in a year in 15 minutes a day. However long it takes you now, it only would take you 1/4 of the time if you stretched it out over 12 months. We still have quite a bit of reading to do, but it isn't to early to start thinking about "next time."
